Umm, Isn't Halloween Tommorrow?

Ok, so I had to post this picture, after our ward's Trunk or Treat (last Wednesday) and our Annual Mortensen Family Halloween Party (Monday night) I think we don't actually need to GO Trick or Treating tomorrow, huh? Braden is gonna be on a sugar rush for a month...(or until I hide the rest of the candy and he forgets about it like last year...)

Mmm... can I come visit?

This is your cousin Mary, by the way. Your boys are adorable.

That is totally me, hiding the candy after we have had way to much. I wouldn't be suprised if there was candy from last year still in our pantry.

Isn't that what Halloween is about? Getting sick on candy? Well after a day of getting sick at our house (the night after Halloween) my kids put their candy out for the great pumpkin and they trade their candy for a toy! They love it cause by then they are usually sick of their candy anyway!
BTW... Ali and I talked last night. Want to help us plan a lunch for everyone when they are in AZ for Thanksgiving? You are the best party planner ever. We were thinking Sat the 24th. Let me know!

Oh my goodness Caryn. You don't even need to get candy for neighborhood kids...just borrow from Braden!

Seriously Im already sick of them asking for candy! Im going to try the switch for a toy thing this year. Good job on the weight loss this week! Happy Halloween!!!

My problem isn't Mitch getting sick on candy, it's me! I don't ever let him have sugar in the afternoon anyway, or he'll be up all night, and the Boys are in bed by 7 every night, so that leaves the candy alone with just me! And I have no will-power. I see a gain on the scale this week. Ah me!

We are doing the Great Pumpkin too! I would way rather have another little toy around the house than candy!

Ok, that is a lot of candy. We went to the trunk or treat last night but it was a bit crazy and Emery couldn't really say trick or treat and she freaked out if I touched her bag even if it was just to open it so they could put the candy in. So, I after just a few cars I thought that was enough. It just is awkward when you are the one begging for candy for a kid that is too little to even eat most of it.

He scored big time! I always encourage Austin to choose the candy I like when I am trick or treating. "Ooh, he really likes Almond Joys, thanks!"

I'm so naughty. Happy Halloween!

Oh my! Blake would have already put all that in the trash. Sometimes dentists really stink!
