We had so much fun spoiling our baby this week. We had a party for him and had so much fun with everyone who came! We quickly realized 40 some odd people don't fit too well in our downstairs! Oh well, the pizza and cake (from Basha's) was good. Berk dug into his cake, made a huge mess, and tried to share with everyone. He was so funny! Thanks to all our family who came, both Burkinshaw families, "Auntie" Heather, and my cousin Genny's family who came all the way from Peoria! He loved everything he got, but I think Braden loved it all more... We kept having to remind him whose Birthday it was! Enjoy the slide show!

Happy Birthday to Berkley!! Sounds like he had a killer first birthday, how nice of Genny to come all the way out. I know first hand how long that drive is! Hope you guys are now able to recover from another crazy birthday weekend!
Happy birthday Berk! Don't they grow up way to fast. I love that Braden is opening a present in one of the pictures. Trevor kept trying to open Hailee's. I kept saying, Trevor this doesn't involve you. I guess it's tempting to help even when all the stuff if for girls.

First birthday parties are the best. It sounds like a great time was had by all. I'm sure Braden was a great big brother during the whole thing.

What darling pictures! I wish I could have been there in time to see him eat his cake, but I was sitting in a deserted parking lot feeding my screaming baby. :o) I am glad I was able to make it for the last part though. It was fun seeing him play with all of his new toys. JJ says he wants to see more videos of Berkley laughing-it's contagious! Thanks for letting us borrow the Bumbo-we have been having all sorts of fun with it!
