So earlier this week we made our annual trek to Mother Natures Farm in Gilbert to pick the boys out their pumpkins. I can't believe how much fun we have there. Braden actually wanted to decorate his pumpkin this year, usually he refuses. We did the hay ride, played in the bounce house and ran around looking for the perfect pumpkins for each of the boys. My mom even came along. Other than my hay allergy which is always super fun, we had beautiful weather and fantastic memories. I have been trying to post photos for over an hour, blogger must be busy, so enjoy this one of Braden until I get another chance to post!
We also had our Ward's Trunk or Treat on Wednesday night, which was so fun. The YW and YM did the booths, Braden's favorite was the fishing one, of course. And he even went in the haunted house- thanks to a brave teacher Brennan who loves my kids-poor guy had to carry him through. I am waiting to post photos of them in costume until after Halloween.
I had the worst migraine on Thursday, thanks to my Mom for leaving work to come watch my kids! Friday was just catch up from being down the day before, but Saturday we had a good busy day. Rusty got to go golfing with his Dad at the club and I got all prepped for the Super Saturday class I am teaching this weekend. Whew! This week is gonna be chaotic, but fun with family parties, Halloween and taking Berk to the ENT- he still doesn't sleep and now he has a burst ear drum! More to come on that later! SO enjoy the sugar rush this week- since I can't... what a stupid time to start a diet competition, but for the record I did lose 3 pounds this week! And Rusty lost 9, so I am pretty sure that Wii is ours!!!

Congrats on your 3 lbs.! That is so funny about your diet competition, I hope you guys win. The pumpkin patch is so much fun, can't wait to see more pics. Hope Berkley is feeling better soon and don't worry...I'm sure I'll eat enough candy for the both of us! Happy Halloween :)
Thats awesome! Getting motivated to lose weight is the hardest part. Just don't eat the candy! I tastes way to good.
IT tastes way to good. Sorry!
Sounds like you had fun. Our favorite pumpkin farm is gone now- th one up near Prescott. Maybe we'll have to start trekking out to Gilbert now since its about the same distance! Congrats on the 3 lbs! I hope you win the Wii, they are so much fun. JJ and I like to bowl against each other, although JJ's impossible to beat since he bowled a perfect game! Guitar Hero 3 just came out for the Wii. Rich and Lauren brought it over last night. We tried to get your mom to play it but she was too chicken :o) We finally convinced my mom to play it and she was better than me!
Wow, congrats on the weightloss! Keep it up, these next three months are what are going to make or break me!! That's awesome!
Sounds like you had a fun/crazy/busy week. Aren't those the best kind of weeks to have?! I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. Ohh and congrats on the 3 pounds! I really hope you guys win the wii!!
That's great about the weight loss! I hope Berk feels better soon!
Ok, I have not been checking blogs as much lately so I had a lot to catch up on. Looks like fun times at the pumpkin patch and a crazy week ahead (which I am in for as well). Glad to hear about the sierra mist love you have going on and Berkley had a great b-day. Can't wait to see costume pics.
Caryn,
Congrats on the 3 lbs. That's great, especially in one week. All of September and most of October I was stuck at the exact same weight... finally last week I lost a little over one pound, and this week I stayed the same. Blast and wretch. Brent finally hit a milestone yesterday though. Keep up the good work.
3 lbs in a week is great! Isn't it sickening how men can loose so much weight so much faster? I'm glad it is a combo thing!
Hey Caryn, I forgot to ask, what are you doing for this diet? Any special tips or ideas? I'm so sick of this plateau I'm on...
Looks like you had fun picking pumpkins. Congrats on the weight loss. I think I just gained 3 eating our kids candy tonight!
