Here are some pictures of the stuff I put out for spring and Easter.
Each year everyone in the family gets an egg. They all have their number and year on them. It's fun to see how many we have accumulated. Some of my favorites are ones Rusty has from when he was a baby.
And on to the Easter celebration.
First we had an egg hunt with our ward. It was super fun. They had about 2,000 eggs for the kids to find. I was pretty proud that my muffins, Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, were the first ones gone. (I had even saved a dozen for home, and within minutes of getting back Brenner ate THEM ALL!) The kids had fun and there were a ton of people from the neighborhood. It was a great turnout.
The rest of the day way pretty relaxing. No games or errands really to run. We did some yard work and then the two oldest boys decided they wanted to swim. It is still pretty cold but they had a blast.
We decorated a few eggs at the Becks that afternoon too.
Easter Baskets Sunday morning.
All dressed up in our Easter clothes.
Boston's first Easter! Don't worry, we did put shoes on him at church. After we went to the Becks house for dinner. Rusty made lamb on his Big Green Egg. It smelled really good, and everyone said it tasted amazing. I am a bad wife and didn't even try it.
This was my attempt at getting a cutesy picture of Boston during the egg hunt. He was so curious about the grass I couldn't get him to look up!
Egg Hunt!
Checking out the goods.
Then we went over to my parents house to see everyone there. Boss thought it was hilarious to pull at Nana's necklace. And then he found his way over to the famous wooden bowl of fruit. I swear each child and grandchild has played with them. He crawled nearly all the way under the table, hit his head and decided it wasn't so fun after all.
(The bandaid on my mom's cheek is from a biopsy they took a day or so before. She wen track in this week and it was a basil cell carcinoma, so they took a bigger area out and hopefully got it all!)
My child has paws, what can I say?
Ok, fun is over, time to rescue

Easter 2011!
We did the traditional egg coloring. I have to give myself big props because a) Rusty was in Canada so I had to make the eggs, and clean up the mess alone and B) I really hate the smell of hard boiled eggs. I mean loathe it. Especially when I am prego. I actually forbid Rusty from making it when I am pregnant. So for me to suck it up for the kids sake, and only dry heave a few times, was a big deal for me!
One of the many hard boiled egg lovers in the house.
The end result- the kids did a good job.
Easter bunny came early to our house, Braden got a Harry Potter movie and candy, Berk got a new pool rocket and candy and Brenner got a few small toys, and a huge Handy Manny doll. He loves "HaneeManee" these days.
I loved the boys matching ties. Rusty had one too, although I just realized I didn't get a picture of him in it.
After church we had our first Easter dinner with the Becks. We had a fun multi room egg hunt. Brenner wasn't so sure at first, but really liked it once he realized it was a game.
Then we headed to Pop's office to take a quick peek at the baby. He is getting big. Then we drove to the Rasmussen's for Easter dinner and playing with cousins. It was a good, yummy Easter.

Easter 2009...
We had a nice Easter morning that started with a visit from the Easter Bunny and brunch at Noni & Pops. Ron Beck's family was also in town for a brief visit so we got to see them too. It was such a beautiful day- you would never know that it had been raining like crazy just 24 hours earlier. After brunch we went to church dressed in our Easter best.
Our Sunday bestest- with the one kid who would let us take photos...
Some of my handsome men
Proof of Berk's super cute outfit- after he sobbed for it to be taken off! (Oh and the vest was already in the washer with spray n wash trying to get the RED candy stains out)
The Easter Egg Hunt- I was a bit lazy when it came to hiding the eggs this year. Let's face it, I more or less stood in one spot and chucked them. I did manage to get some under the rocks and in the plants. So it all worked out.
Berk and his basket- I can't believe he actually sat still for a photo!
Braden and his loot!
After dinner with the Becks and Solomons, we did the egg hunt. Berk didn't get it at first and just 'found' the eggs and then dropped them again. Eventually, he got it and then it was a race to get eggs! We made it a little tougher by assigning the bigger kids a color to hunt. After dessert we headed out to the Rasmussen's to visit with my parents and my siblings. Rhonda's girls looked so adorable- I am sure there will be photos on her blog.
And just cause I can- here are a few photos of Baby Beck from my Level II U/S. His profile and waving Hi! I am 20+ weeks now and feel like a whale, but I am really enjoying this pregnancy. Now if we could just narrow down a name...
