Most of you know I have been playing in a Bunco group for, shoot, almost 5 years. The players are continually changing and it is so much fun. We have had the same 8 (of 12) girls playing together for over 3 years. It was a blast. But life happens, new jobs, new kids and girls had to leave. I am super sad about it. Bunco night is my out. My one night a month when I get to relax, gossip, eat good food and leave with a little fun prize. Anyway. We had two girls leave to start a family Bunco group, and we miss them a ton. And another player got a new job that requires her to rack up some major frequent flier miles.
So I am looking for 2 new players. We play on the 2nd Thursday of every month for about 2 hours (7-9) generally. Our group is scattered from Mesa to Gilbert and QC to Chandler. We are skipping the summer and playing in May and not again till August. So if you think you are interested in playing and want to know more about how we play (I know every group plays a little different) or who plays I will send you an invite to the our Bunco Blog. This is really the first time we have had to look for players. When we started no one had groups and now EVERYONE has them. Geez! And don't worry if you have not ever played, it requires no real skill, besides tossing dice, and is quick to pick up!
Honestly this is a super high energy but very laid back group. We have been known to slap hands when rolling (ok, that is just me) and throwing the 'traveler's pig' at people's drinks (oh, wait, me again) and shout out "Ding" at the head table (now that one is not just me!) . New mommies bring their babies (usually till about 6 mo old), we wear jammies some months, ect. And since we are looking for 2 girls, if you are hesitant you can make your best friend or your sister join too!!! Thanks blogging friends and I wish most of you weren't in other states/ countries so you could play with me!

I will play! Im sure it would be a blast!!!! NOT!!!!!
I love Bunco! It really is my favorite night out of the month. I got a group going here and some people hesitated joining and now they are regretting it. So, I hope you find some great girls - I wish I could do it, but I don't know if my hubbie would approve of me driving 5 hours once a month for a girl night.
If you REALLY need me, I might be able to swing it, but I'd have to check with the hubby first. :) Let me know. Sorry that you're bummed out. It seems like loads of fun.
Hi Caryn- I'm a very old friend of Rhonda's and I am in your parents ward( I love your parents). I know Rhonda has talked about your fun bunco group(I'll talk to her about it too.) I am in between bunco groups(you know how that happens) and I would love to play if you need a spare. Or I can sub if you need it until you can get a couple of your friends to join. Either way works for me!
Caryn I would love to play I subed in a group in texas. I have to warn you though I might just win :)
I would love to but I can't even make it to my own bunco group that meets around the corner from my house! Darn clinicals on Tuesday nights.
