Lesson Learned???

Braden has a way of always finding change and saving it. He has a number of piggy banks around the house he stores it in. A few weeks ago he decided he wanted to get a the new Tiger Snake Webkinz (I really have to blog about my Webkinz obsession sometime for those who don't know what it is...) and since I wouldn't buy it for him (com'on he has 6 already) he finally had a light bulb moment...

I wish I could get my kids to save money! It's like it burns a hole in their pockets! Maybe I need to get a serious piggy bank for them like that one in the picture. Good job for Braden earning/finding so much!

I'm totally coming back here to print off those spring cleaning tips...I totally need to do that!

My kids need a piggy bank so they cant see the money. They have a hard time holding onto it. It just burns a hole right through their pockets. You are so good at the computer. I needs some tips on how to do things.

That kid is hilarious! He is the biggest hoarder I've ever seen. He's always pulling stuff out of his pockets. That's awesome that he bought all that stuff on his own. You guys are such a fun family.

My piggy never had that much change :( I think I got gipped! It is always bitter sweet when my boys spend their allowance. They love to buy stuff, but then they are always sad when piggy is empty again! You are a great mom!!

Hey caryn, here's a summer idea for you and your boys. A good friend of mine (Lucas' wife) is teaching this and if I had a child the right age I would totally do it!
