Berkley just turned 18 months old! I took him to his Well Baby where I was reassured how big he is. He weighed over 27 pounds (75%) and was 40 inches tall (95%). He has another round of his little mono bug, and is keeping us up every night. I feel like I am back to the cry it out phase! So, curious as I am, I wanted to compare the boys size. Everywhere we go, people comment on Berk's size, how huge his feet are, or how tall he is gonna be... And as I think back on Braden as a baby, I guess I always think of him smaller, sickly, ect. So, no one was more surprised then I was when I re read Braden's stats from his 18 month well baby...
{Berkley}27lbs 7 oz, 40 inches
{Braden} 26lbs 6 oz, 39.5 inches
Berk is really not so much bigger than his brother! I was floored. I had to recheck his stats in other albums so I could be sure! I know their body's are differently proportioned because the shoes BDen wore at this age stopped fitting Berk months ago; and Berk is already wearing 2T pants & shorts that BDen got way past his 2nd Birthday...
I wait for the day when my house is truly torn apart during the epic match of Braden"Bear Claw" and Berkley"Shaq Feet" -- because even though their sizes are similar now, I have visions of Berkley in the near future dwarfing his brother and paying him back for all the little shoves he has gotten since birth...
BTW, my sister found out what Baby #2 is gonna be today, so check her blog!

OK, I checked her blog a few mintues ago and NOTHING. I am soooo disappointed.
I can't believe those stats! I never would have guessed it. I took Ry in for her 9 month check up today (it goes way too fast!) and she was 100% height and 75% weight. I can't believe how big she's getting!
Don't you love big and chubby boys? I think I forget how big my other boys were too because Blake just seems ginormous. He is 35 lbs at 22 months! I think he is a little bigger than his brothers, but you have inspired me to check :)
Looking back I think we are always surprised because our minds forget!! They sure both seem to be healthy now!!
Wow, looking at those pics side they looks so much alike. Cute boys. I can't wait to see if you are right and Berk will pass Braden up soon.
I am SURE Jackson is bigger than Hannah was... but this has inspired me to check anyway! Now I'm curious!
They are still both WAY CUTE!! Funny that they both weighed more at 18 months than Peyton weighs right now!!!
I know exactly how you feel. Tessa seems like such a big little girl compared to what Maylyn was, but she actually weighs less at a year old than Maylyn did when she was one. Crazy!!
That's crazy! You got some big boys there! They are both so cute though. I like the posts about them. They make me laugh.

Caryn your boys are adorable! I'm glad you have prepped yourself for whats to be when you boys get older. I am sure you have already seen some of it. Just dont ever keep something in your house that you really care about because it will be broke! Good thing you have the boys so they can protect Rhonda's boys!

I knew that Berk wasn't that much bigger! I remember thinking once when you were mentioning it, that B-dog was a big boy! (Afterall, he sky-rocketed in size after his surgeries.) But, Berk is definitely looking Line-Backer build! And B-dog looks more Quarterback. We'll see! Good luck with the WWF in your casa!
I LOVE big squishy babies (and toddlers). I can't believe how alike they look, espcially their facial expressions! What cute boys!!
Okay...I am amazed myself w/the similarity in size. It has got to be the feet...and might I add that Berk has big hands too!

Its funny how we forget how big (or how little) our kids once were until we see it in writing! My kids are total opposites... Peyton has always been super tall and BIG, and Pajha is teeny tiny. Or maybe she isn't... and I just need to sit and compare the two again! lol! Your kids are adorable!

Wow who'd have thought?! Seriously my boys are the same way. Cade was probably about the same weight as Stratton when he was younger but Stratton now is pretty skinny (but heavy still, I don't know why) and Cade is still so thick and tough. Sadly, Cade can take down Stratton in 2 seconds, lay on him and Stratton can't get up. This is your life fast forward a couple years!! Hope the big brothers learn to be a little nicer to their little brothers before they regret it :)
That is crazy your two boys are almost the same size. And wow I can't believe how tall Berk is. He definately towers over our little shorty. For sure call me if you are in Utah this summer. I would be so mad to know you were in town and I didn't get to see you.
ok caryn, i'm completely jealous and feeling a bit inadequate that you can actually find the height and weight stats that you keep. i am so proud of myself for keeping them for each child, but have no idea where they are if i wanted to compare. wanna come organize for me!?
WOW! That's awesome. BOys should totally be that way! Adi is really little like her daddy, and she will be 18 months on the 20th, and she still isn't to 20 lbs yet. Or maybe she will be...we'll see.
