Back to School...

Thankfully I am not driven in the scholarly way. While I did well in college, I just didn't love it and having my Associates Degree in General Studies suits me just fine. One day maybe, I will think about, thinking about the possibility of going back to school, but for now I am content just being the wife of a student.

Yes sir, after finishing a double major at the end of 2005, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Managent and Marketing...as well as a near perfect GPA--(Overachiever) Rusty has been accepted into the MBA program at University of Phoenix. I am really proud he decided to go back and I know it was in his long term plans, so why not do it now? He should finish up next year sometime, unless he goes crazy and tries to do it in under a year, pleaselet's hope not. I guess he just didn't think he could handle all that relaxing on the cruise unless he was really stressed out before it! He starts classes next week and I will lose him forever to his computer at night. Congrats, sweetie the boys and I are so proud and I know you will do fantastic! Oh, and no pressure on the straight A's this time...

None at all...

Congrats Rusty! No pressure really for such a high GPA this time. It will only be posted on your blog for everyone to see if you don't though... jk :) Good luck with school!

Hey Caryn, I'm kinda feeling your pain! Brett is starting his MBA right now too! Yikes! I already hardly see him! Oh, we totally missed you today! How's your car? We'll have to do it again soon!

So, wait, does this mean Rusty HAS a computer to be lost to? :)

Way to go Rusty!

Good job, Rusty! Way to be motivated! I actually have no desire for more schooling! I'd rather learn by the school of life method. (Don't really know if it does me any good.) Heehee! Anyway, congrats! And good luck!

Good for Rusty! Rocky tried to go back and get his MBA, but his heart just wasn't in it. Under a year at U of P is CRAZY, so hopefully he sticks just to the program.

I hear you on being a wife of a student. We have one semester left to go for Denny to finish law school. For some reason it has been great for our family. We manage our time better and he seems to make sure our family gets the time we need. Good luck to Rusty! Knowing you guys it will be a breeze.

Hey, you tell Rusty straight A's would fine with me! I'd like to at least be able to live vicariuosly(sp) through you. Heaven only knows I don't see that around here. But, I must say, I work hard fopr my boys' A's B's and sometimes C's.(You'll know what I mean when your boys are older!)
ENJOY SCHOOL RUSTY!

Good for Rusty! I think Richard is doing the same program, I can't remember but I think he finishes in the Fall sometime. Fun stuff. I assume someday I'll go back for my Masters but right now it is the mothering season of my life and I am going to enjoy every minute of it! Have fun Rusty! As if you weren't already busy enough!

Hey Caryn, sometime about 2 or 3 months ago I was surfing some of your friends' blogs in my free time, and I came across a post by a friend of yours talking about how she found a website that will take your blog and put it in book form. Did you happen to read that, and if so, do you remember the website? Or, if that friend reads this comment (I can't remember who it was!) I would love to know what the site was!
