For all the bad vices the Internet brings, blogging has to be one of the best.
I {Heart} blogging because...
- It allows me to journal my family's comings and goings, even when I a slacking on our scrapbooks.
- I am so much closer to a huge number of my first cousins, that before, I heard or spoke to only at reunions. (You guys are my best blog commenters) We even have a family blog when birthday wishes, baby news and other achievements are posted. I love it.
- I have found other Mom's and gotten advice I needed to help me with sleeping problems, behavior issues and just a general support that I am doing ok as a Mom.
- Since I am not working I have 'an out' and even if I don't leave my house I can talk to another grownup!
- My videos are actually seen rather than wasting away on my PC. The rest of the world can see just how fun my kids and my life really is.
- I can still be in my jammies from the night before and know I am not the only person up after midnight blogging, and feel accomplished...(like right now)
- I have reconnected with some of my best high school girl friends. (I love you crazy ladies!)
- I have found some of my oldest friends from when I was little (I mean little, like before I moved to Az, I was 10 when we left Ut), and get to see how their lives turned out. (Kim, Kerryne- so happy to be back in touch!)
- I am able to get to know neighbors and ward members in a way that just seeing them on Sunday's and at church activities never would.

Wow, 100 posts! Holy crap you've been busy! I wish I could keep up my blog as much as you do. Maybe when my life settles down (or gets crazier) after the baby is born, I can keep it up. And, thank you for dragging me (kicking and screaming) into the blogging world!
I love the new blog look. I think blogging is the best journaling because doing it so consistently helps us remember the small details of what we are doing.
I'm so glad you started your blog. I love reading it and finding out about your life. You also pushed me to start our blog! I'm so glad I met you, Caryn! Your blog rocks!
Amen! Blogging is awesome! I am completely addicted and so so sooo grateful to have been able to get back in touch with you, Kim and many others from the old 'hood! By the way did I tell you that your friend Brooke Hunt and I met in El Paso? What a small world it is!
I agree, blogging is a great way to keep in touch and see how others in our same situations have many similar struggles and experiences. I, for one, and glad you started a blog because you are always entertaining and just freaking hilarious. Love ya!
Yeah yeah.. I know that I was the resistant neighbor! I am glad to be part of the blog world..thanks to your tips. Its so fun to get back in touch with so many old friends and get to know neighbors in a whole new way!!
You're right, blogging is the best. It's just hard to keep up! I love hearing what you guys are up to though...I love the pictures in the last post. So cute of you and Rusty especially. My 10 year reunion was great. Wow, I am OLD...my 20 year is coming up in two years!
Caryn you are the pro at blogging. Maybe when I get to my 100th post I will be better at it like you are. It is such a great way to connect with people and to write about our own lives writing little details we would never do otherwise. I love reading all you daily ins and outs. You write so well and you make it entertaining and fun.
Caryn you are the #1 blogger in my eye's! I could never keep up with all you do but keep doing it cause I love reading it instead of updating mine!
I am so with you! I love blogging and we just had our blogoversary too. I am so happy you (I mean Rusty) caved into the blog world :)
you are very good at putting your feelings out there- and getting others to write back- sometimes I am that silent blog hopper- but nope- not today- Caryn called me out! I am excited for the reunion- let's do something super fun... maybe even a hotel fri. pm- do you want me to help u coordinate something? Let me know darlin! Thanks
I have to agree that blogging is the best. I love it for all the same reasons, especially for journaling and keeping in touch with friends. I still don't know how I found your blog awhile ago, but sure glad I did. You are the cutest.
Ditto...I love blogging!
Mary dragged me into blogging - I didn't even have the Internet. But now I love it! I probably only update mine weekly most of the time, but that's more than I write in a journal, so it's an improvement! And, like you, it's been fun getting to know all you first cousins again - as adults, as moms, etc.
