So I guess Berk is getting even with me for posting such a nice post about him. The last few nights he has woken up at 4 am and cried until Rusty gave in and gave him a bottle. He is cutting his molars, so we are giving him a little pass. But the most disturbing habit he has assumed lately is that of home decorator! I have the pleasure of redecorating the lower section of our tree every evening, and three or four time during the day. He loves to rearrange the Little People Nativity (any holiday decor in his reach is fair game, in his defense...) we have out and move any rugs we have from their proper place. But I have decided he must not like the finish on our wood floors, because nearly every day he tries to cover every square inch with food. I sweep up cup fulls at a time. I know, give him less, but he eats and eats and when he is done he dumps his tray before I can blink! I love this kid and his querks. Thankfully, Braden has assumed my obsessive qualities and generally follows behind him rehanging ornaments, putting bows back on packages and un-tipping beaded trees. Last year Braden was the decor culprit. He loves to organize things, and each day I would have to stop him from getting the gifts out from the tree. He would put them in piles by wrapping paper and then put them bck under. He just didn't get my vision for a nicely arranged gift pile! Huh! THis year he hasn't done that tho, yeah...
I love Christmas, but I am kinda ready to have my house back to normal...
(The final weigh in for our competition is tomorrow at 3, so I will be sure to let you know how we all did!)

All you can do is laugh, Right?! Addison is now starting to get into everything. I'm glad you have Braden to help you get everything back in order. What a good helper he is. Well good luck on your weigh in and Merry Christmas!
Too funny! Love that Berkers! I think we can thank our parents for the OCD! Can't believe Christmas is almost over! Crazy!
I'm lucky because the way my house is set up I can put up a baby gate to block between the rooms and Hailee can't get to the tree. My boys are like Braden, but they put presents in piles of who they belong to and if someone has more than them they get mad.
Too cute! I only had presents under the tree for one day. I didn't want to chance it.
Cute little man! I'm anxious for the weigh in update! GOOD LUCK!
I totally know how you feel. Taggart actually pulled our tree over on him (see my post). I'm with you and ready to have my house back to normal. I hope that you had a great Christmas. :)
That's too funny! Alex is doing the same thing right now with making our house a mess, it drives me nuts! And we haven't taken away the bottle yet, I dread it! :)Hope you had a great christmas!
Ha ha! I have similar pictures of Jackson. His favorite place to play was behind the tree in this little nook he made. Now the tree is gone, and he doesn't know where to hide!
I am glad I am not alone in the home "redecorating" department. It is exhausting at times but you have to laugh at their little personalities.
I always think Ashton eats a lot until I sweep the floor under his chair after he is done and then I wonder if he ate anything!!
cute pics of berk. so so cute. you cant help but just love him!
