Another Fun Weekend...

I Love Fall. I love knowing that eventually it will stop being a million degrees outside and best of all it is time to start decorating for the holidays! Earlier this week I dug out the Fall stuff and had a good time trying to figure out what I could put low that couldn't be broken by the boys. Everything glass is up out of reach and I am quickly learning what it will take to keep my Christmas decor safe- baby gates, and lots of 'em. I also love that this is the start of the boutique season! Last fall I was busy having a baby so I missed most of them, but not this time! I have my first one this weekend in Queen Creek at Pecan Groves South, there will be a ton of cute stuff (My HeartBaby line included) so check it out, if you want directions leave a comment!

The farm where we get our pumpkins is even starting to set things up and it opens next week! I can't wait. Long sleeves here we come...So, this weekend was great. Blake & Addi were in town from San Fran and we always love getting together with the Robisons clan. Ashley just finished her mission and I am sure Patty is glad to have her home, since Gage came home and promptly headed to BYU. It was good to see the family and get updates about Beth's baby Zoie. FYI Addi, your belly looks even smaller in real life than it did on your blog, there is no way you only have 2 weeks left! But we can't wait to meet the newest member of your family! We had fun chatting with all the Robison's, messing up Patty's family room and swimming. Even the Burkinshaw's came over for some of the fun. Saturday we headed out to Phoenix for a pool party for a coworker of Rusty's. It was fun, their pool is brand spankin' new and had the best slide for Braden. We even got a little rainstorm, which cooled it off enough to be enjoyable outside. Sunday after church, my parents and my niece Yazzie came over to visit. Berk loves to climb right at her, throw toys at her and yell really loud in her direction. And she loves to look at the nearest person, cry and beg for rescue with her eyes! We got them both fed (she out ate him hands down) and into the bath. They were so cute, splashing and not sharing toys, it was great. Yaz has about a million times more hair than Berk, so washing it was a treat, she even has curls- it's a good thing she is related or I just might have to hate her parents for having such a cute kid!
Also, I have had a ton of friends and family join the blogging world! Most recently Beth G., Genny and Ani, so Welcome -Welcome we are so happy to be able to keep up on your lives!

Oh Caryn! How on earth do you live in your house with all those big spiders around?? I know they're decoration, but ... don't they freak you out even a little? I've got my Boys well-trained: they see a spider and they run for the toilet paper to smoosh it! I'm so blasted terrified of the things! You must be of a stouter heart than I am... But anyway, point is, isn't autumn-time great? I am so excited too. I just wish Monterey weather were slightly more prone to change so we could enjoy the lovely fall colors. Alas. Ah well, your pictures helped put me in the mood!

Why thank you for the warm welcome, dear cousin! This whole blogging thing is very addicting. I find myself thinking of things to blog about during middle of the night feedings. In fact, in the middle of the night I feel like I can't wait until morning to blog about my earth-shattering idea, only to become coherent the next morning and realize that my thoughts the night before were absolutely delusional, and if I dared blog about them somebody would surely admit me to an asylum.... Your decorations look so cute! I am glad you have gotten yours out already. I was thinking about getting mine out sometime soon as well...since I do love Halloween!

Caryn-
Email me your phone number, or get mine from Marci. I went to ARMS today, so I want to tell you all about it. It turns out our situations are pretty similar, possibly.

Oh Caryn. You are too, too, too nice. My belly must have been doing a good hiding job. We love seeing you. Now if Rusty would just use some of those days off to take you to San Fran! Pier 39 is calling your name.

Your decorations are so cute! I don't even know if I have any halloween decor, it's been so long since I've put it out since last year Cade attacked and demolished anything within reach. I want your spiders, those are cool. Where are the boutiques at this weekend?? Maybe I can hit it up after/before your party.

Thanks Shan- the picture is from this summer at our family reunion, I was going to use it as our Christmas card photo, but I am doing something else instead, so I though i would share it... There are a few more from the photo shoot at becknews.com under the photos bar!
