Day 2 was a much cooler, cloudy day. That made everyone a lot less crabby, ok, me. It made me less crabby.
Best traveler ever.
The Lego Pirate and the Birthday BOY!!
We went to a different lunch spot at the food was really good- Berk had fun while we waited.
Jaci too...
Yeh, the rides at Legoland are ummm, well, they are perfect for a three year old. We went round and round on the planes.
Dug in the sand for dino bones, while Berkley and I rode the only really good roller coaster over and over and over again. It was fun. Brenner would say "I heard you screaming Mom." Yeh, I am a wimp. and the "good' roller coaster was too lame for Rusty. Perfect for me, and a 6 year old...
Here is Boston on the ONLY ride he was allowed on. It was like a slower, more boring version of It's a Small World, we only rode it once.
The second day we did a lot more of the shows. This one was funny. A lot of acrobats and silliness. The kids were having a grand time until Brenner got wet from the fire truck. Boston actually slept for once so he missed out.
After hugging Daddy he went back to enjoying the show, far far from the water.
The kids kept saying, "You put the wet stuff on the hot stuff."
Took another loop on the boats...
And spent a little more time in the Duplo Village...
And managed to get one group shot before we left. (Which ended up being our Christmas card photo)
After a rest at the hotel we headed out to celebrate Berk's birthday , yes AGAIN!
Aside from a minor (major) breakdown I had in the bathroom over their not so extensive gluten free menu, we had a good meal and it was a good end to the trip.
Here we all are, Jill, Cindi, Jaci and our family. I think Berkley enjoyed his birthday week.
