Waiting to go in. As we came in the gates they took our zip code, and the worker said, "All of Gilbert must have emptied out this week!" It was pretty funny. The boys were excited to wear these bleached out web shirts. They worked out perfectly that when bleached the black turned orange!
The thing I like most about Legoland is that the size is manageable in a day. You really can do the whole park easily in a day. And the lines are way less, and for entertainment in the line there are stations with Legos for the kids to play with! So while everyone went to ride the first ride of the day, Boston and I hung out in one of these holding areas.
He was content to sit in the stroller until he saw the actual legos...
Braden and Jaci
Brenner on the Volvo test course
These two boogers enjoyed the side by side seating of the stroller.
Braden and Berkley got to drive on a bigger course. And after they all got official Legoland Driver's License.
Nearly every picture of Boston was in the stroller, but he really did get out and run around A LOT.
Noni and Brenner
Brenner and his license. He wore it everywhere for nearly a month after this too.
Jill!
The boats were fun because you really had to steer them, and who does't love driving a boat?
Another favorite thing about Legoland is that there is so much to see. Literally hundreds of statues all made of, you guessed it, Legos!
We spent a lot of time in the Duplo Village which is basically a huge playground. Nice to let the kids unwind and run around, especially Boston.
And we ended the day with ice cream and a visit to buy some Lego sets!
Legoland Day 1 is a wrap.
