Ever since I had Brenner, I seem to spend a lot of time in my rocking chair. Feeding him, rocking him, sleeping- I mean him not me, and watching TV. Well I noticed that my very most-est favorite show EVER Gilmore Girls was in reruns and right at the beginning of the series. So I started taping it and watching it.
After a month or two I noticed something... THEY WERE SKIPPING EPISODES! So annoying! Well, finally I dragged my lazy bum downstairs and brought up the DVD's (I have of the entire series).
Needless to say, all of my other prime time shows are on hold indefinitely while I watch Lorelei and Rory and all their crazy times again. I am almost finished with season 4 and I am already dreading it ending in season 7. This show was witty and quick and I loved it. Oh, the good old days. I swear one of my favorite compliments ever was when this cute 12 year old at church told me I reminded her of Lorelei.
Oh, Stars Hollow, Luke, Dean-Jess-Logan, Sookie, I miss you all.

And I already have an idea of who will occupy my DVD player when I finish with them... it's a toss up between Charmed, Alias and Friends or maybe I'll finally watch Heroes.
Hmmm, maybe I will be fair and just proceed in alphabetical order. What old shows do you miss? And I know one of you is wondering if you can borrow my GG dvd's...

Roswell. I really miss that one! Also, I hate to admit it, but I still would watch Dawson's Creek!!
Oooh. Good call with Roswell. Thank heaven for Netflix! And Dawson's will always remind me of high school times.
I love GG! I've been watching the re runs on TV...it comes on during my kids naptime...a great show to watch during peace and quiet :)
When I first saw that picture I thought it was you. You do look like her. I've never seen the show. Might have to see about that!
After I had Emery and was sitting around just the same I got into the beloved Gilmore Girls. Now I have watched the reruns (thank you DVR) ever since they so abruptly ended the series. I cried when it ended. I love that show and I so get what a compliment it is to be called Lorelei. They are the best friends a girl could ask for.
But I kind of want to fast forward through season 6. I hate when Rory and Lor fight. Oh and I really want them to have a reunion show and do a decent series finale.
LOVED Gilmore Girls! Another fave is WHat I like about you. Why do all the good shows get canceled, or have to end? :(
I'm guessing you were thinking me? Yeah, I wanna borrow them. Thanks.
I love Friends & could watch it everyday. But, I'm gonna say Alias next. Love a girl kicking a little butt!
Caryn, I think you need to do Heroes next. I am hooked on that show. Or maybe you can find DVDs of Saved By the Bell!!
Never ever seen it. Maybe I'll start that one next. I LOVE to watch TV series, because we don't have TV. ha!
oh i love it too!! today i just watched the episode where rory slept with dean... so un rory like!!
May I suggest Friends! If so I'll come rock from time to time! :)
I miss Beverly Hills 902110-- but thank you to soapnet for letting me occupy most of the space on my DVR for those. Also "the O.C", FRIENDS, Saved by the Bell, and now... ER!
I'm with Kellyann... when that pic first popped up I thought it was you.
I'm lame, I guess - I've never seen any of those! One thing I love about having a new baby, though, is holding them for so many hours a day and being able to sit and either watch something or read at the same time! (I miss it.)
That's too funny! I just watched a rerun of GG Girls last week! Lorali was on Ellen a few weeks ago. I think she is a fabulous actress. She is in a new series I believe but I'm not sure what it's called.
Friend's still has to be my unltimate fav though. I still watch episodes everyday and it never ever gets old:)
Heroes is awesome, start & you won't be able to stop until you are caught up! I love it. Friends would be next best on my list!
I miss Family Ties. Yea. Really old, but sooo hilarious. I need to remind Brent to finish getting them for me. Gotta love Michael J. Fox.
I was thrilled to open my Target ad yesterday and all the Gilmore seasons are 14.99. I've never been so giddy!
Friends is a great choice. I might recommend 2 of our faves. House & Lost. Both very worth watching. With Lost you can't wait to watch the next episode. It seriously never gets boring. Let me know if you need to borrow it!
Love Gilmore Girls. And it is one of the few shows you can actually watch over again! Because they are so witty and clever and talk so fast you are bound to find something you didn't pick up the first time. Or you did pick it up the first time, but still appreciate it. They had some great writers. And I would have been flattered with that compliment too...(shameful admission...I have been watching Murder SHe Wrote on Netflix and am sad that I am in the 12th and final season...sad, I know.)
