Let's face it, with google reader, and bloglines, you don't even have to blog hop to keep up on your friends blogs, but come on! Time to rejuvenate those of us who need blogs for the praise, the "hey, you're funny" and the ego. Thanks to my friend AliFinale, one of the first blogs I ever read, for this reminder and for her friend who has this cute sign on her blog. I don't know her, but I like her already...
So pass it on. I will be doing my darndest to show the love to the blogs I follow, do the same. Even if you've never commented before. Stranger or friend. Even if it's a quick "Me too!" Give us Mommy Bloggers some love... because I know you're coming and reading from my Blog Patrol. And it hurts my feelings a little that my hit counter shows 50-80 readers a week, yet I manage a lousy 5 comments- even on my best stuff? Do you know what that does to my pride???
If you agree, pass it on. Blog about it. Facebook it. Heck Tweet it- no don't really, I think Twitter is lame. But don't feel shameful about plugging yourself. Sometimes the few words we get from a comment makes our day. At least for me. And I promise, if you take the time to comment on a blog, that person will for you too sometime. It's the whole Blog Karma thing working.

Caryn you are hilarious. Here's my excuse...I'm always nursing when reading blogs and so typing comments is hard. I always think to myself I will go back and make a comment. I know..I know...no excuses. I'm not nursing now obviously...

I like this! But I'm guilty also, I look all the time without leaving a comment. I might use this picture on my blog. It really is fun to read all the comments.
Ok that is too funny! Just yesterday I told Jake I was quiting the blog because no one ever reads it and it takes me forever to download pictures and to post! So a BIG THANKS to you Caryn! You are hilarious. And I need to do better at commenting too so thank you!
A-FRICKIN-MEN!!!! I have thinking about taking everyone off my blog & only doing it for me since NO ONE comments! Actually, no one even takes the time to read it since you have to sign in. LAME EXCUSE! Cause, for real, most peeps are already signed in since they use google reader. I'll def post about this ASAP!

First of all, I say that it is always nice to get comments just for the sake of knowing who your audience is (like in-laws that you did the blog for in the first place, but then you never know if they read it or not), however, I don't think it's a popularity contest. Why should it matter that you only have five comments on your "best stuff". That's five comments you wouldn't have had you should be glad for. I agree with Rhonda, and actually did that some time ago. I just "cleaned house" and got rid of people that never seemed to check. It felt great. Anyway, I could go on and on, but I better not. Good luck getting all the comments you've always dreamed of:)

By the way, When I was prego this last time, we thought of the name Berkley for a little girl. Funny huh? Maybe it must be one of those names like Taylor of Jordan...universal...or maybe I'm crazy and have the gender thing mixed up:)

Caryn I love you! You crack me up all the time. I always check your blog and love to read your posts. If I was your boss (and who are we kidding, nobody is your boss), I would make you write a book. Who cares what it's about. You are an excellent writer and the way you tell a story reminds me of how Stephanie Meyers writes. You have talent lady. I would buy your book and thousands of others would too. So if you want real validity, write. :) See you Thursday.
