- 17 restaurant crayons (I save them and melt them into those cute round crayons we made as kids)
- 1 bouncy ball
- 1 'Pidermah' action figure
- $3ish dollars in loose change
- Extra camera battery and memory card
- Notepad
- Denim patches to fix Braden's pants
- A bottle of Tums
- Kids Tylenol
- A wide variety of my meds (Zofran, Tylenol, ect ect)
- 2 pens
- 1 broken pencil
- Packet of fruit snacks
- Random wrappers of various color and size
- 1 lip gloss, 2 chapsticks (girly and non), and 6 lipsticks (remember I used to be a makeup artist, old habits ad all)
Oh and then the 'essentials'
- Wallet
- Check book
- Spare diaper w/ small wet ones packet
- Ridiculously old receipts- I didn't even TRY to count those!
- Gum
- Mace
Seriously! No wonder I feel like I need a forklift every time I go somewhere! SO I have dug out an old favorite purse that is MUCH smaller. Only the 'essentials' and 1 toy car are going in it- from now on.
Or until tomorrow when real life happens again...Obviously my OCD-ness does not apply to my handbags.

umm and the small purse will only work until baby comes and then it's a dang suitcase with everything but the kitchen sink involved!
WOW!! I thought I had a lot in my purse! Seriously put it all back in and put it on the scale. How much is that!

This sounds like what the majority of women carry around in their purses!! Sounds like you are just like the rest of us!!
I love that the OCD girl misses some areas. Just wait til baby #3 comes and then what will you be carrying?! :-)

lol! I did the exact same thing today & I was embarassed of myself. I had more old receipts than I could count, old shopping lists, 6 lip glosses (no wonder I can never find any), 4 packs of gum all half full, 4 bacalgons, restaurant toothpicks & mints, 3 motorcycle helmets.....the list goes on & on. And now my purse is organized. Until my kids decide to load it up again. No wonder why we have bad backs!
I like to call my purse my suitcase, because with kids that's what it ends up being!
Easter looked like fun, there's nothing wrong with just chucking some eggs to "hide" them:)

that was almost exact to what I had in my purse (that I recently cleaned out due to the heaviness of it), but I had over $25 in CHANGE!!! Mostly quarters, but other things as well. I'm ashamed.
Okay, that is SO funny! I don't think I even want to take inventory of my bag. Who knows what I'd find!
Ha, ha, ha! I love it. I've noticed my purse is heavy lately, too. Maybe I should check it out . . . I'm scared . . .
hahaha! I did the exact same thing yesterday! However, I pulled everything out, realized how much junk I had in there, and shoved it back in until I could face it!
Guess I ought to go do that now...
Ha ha!!!! I love it!!!! I can so relate to this post! The best is when I find an almost-full water bottle in the bottom of my purse that has been there for who knows how long... dead weight.
