Harry Potter...(NO SPOILERS! I promise)

OK, I am a little fanatic about the whole Harry Potter thing. Granted I got into it a little late, I have more than made up for it. I remember sitting in the SLC airport, my flight was delayed and everyone around me seemed to be reading the same book. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azcaban. So, I thought why not go see what all the fuss was about. I bought the first book and read it while I was waiting. So I bought the second one for the flight home. Bought the third one at the PHX airport and was deeply disturbed to find out I would have to wait a year to read book 4! How dare JK Rowling? Didn't she know I needed to know what was going to happen next??? I started and finished each of the next books (4-7) on the day they were released. I hate hearing from other people the spoilers so I knew if I finished it fast I would be safe, that and have I mentioned I speed read??? Any who. HP and the Deathly Hollows lived up to its hype. There is death, hope and lots of love in the book. I do recommend refreshing you memory about the other books though. I watched movies 4 & 5, then reread6 and there were a few places I thought, "I don't remember that." For all those who like to know what happens, because they are those odd ones who ONLY see the movies (CTH, RAB), and/or only read the books after they see the movies (TKR- you know who you are)then email me for my thoughts on the subject. But I won't post any spoilers because if you read it accidentally then it ruins all the fun. Happy reading all you Muggles. Thanks to JK Rowling for making kids everyone (and kids at heart- like me) want to read again!

Oh, and thanks to Rusty for letting me be off in my reading chair for the better part of the day, and although they can't read, thanks to Bden and Berk for letting me read while playing, read while they napped, read while they ate ect... I promise no more books for at least a week.

Are you really finished already!!! I just got the book today and am only on chapter 8. I thought I was doing pretty good.

I have no idea the hype over Harry Potter because I've never gotten into it, but Caryn...as a wife and mom...I appreciate any free minute I get to read.

lol I have been reading during everything all day today but I'm not too far, almost halfway. I love it already!! I think this is the best so far for sure. I have to admit I did read the last page, I couldn't help myself. And knowing just that one detail (I'm sure you can guess what, I won't spoil) I knew I could read the book and be happy. Guess where I ended up getting the book from? I stopped off at Fry's on my way to Sam's after talking to you and they had about 100 books sitting on a display right by the door - at FRY'S. Crazy.

Hey Caryn, was happy to hear someone else finished quickly too! Wow, such an ending. I had to reread several earlier chapters, then several chapters from previous book also. I wouldnt have survived the past few years without the joy of HP! Yes, I am a fellow fan. My kids dont get how I can keep rereading the whole series over and over. Part of it is just to be in another "world" and away from them!

I guess I should read these books. Everyone tells me to. I am more of a movie person. Jared finished it in 2 days. It is nice to have him back.

Ok, Shan and Kelli, you both need to read the books. I promise they are so good, not kid books alone. And if you have only watched the movies you are missing out on SOOOO much of the story line!

I have to say I don't read them either, maybe someday! But I'm sure that you're sad that they are done, I was sad when the last Lord of the Rings movie was done, hmmm I guess that's the same!?

Caryn, I am SO jealous! Blake doesn't understand that HP is a necessity! But don't worry, I have my name on the waiting list at the library! :)

Addi, if you haven't gotten it by Gage's welcome home I will bring you mine!!!

Okay, I finished it at long last after reading for pretty much the entire day today. I LOVED IT!!

Question though...can you figure out who's kid Victore is supposed to be that Teddy is "snogging"? Maybe someone other than the four parents present at the end, like one of the other Weasley's? That one went over my head.

Caryn! I need you to go to my blog and leave me comments. I admit, I posted spoilers, but that's because I still have so many questions! So please give me some insight if you have it. Brent and I are like you, we had to sequester ourselves in on Saturday (thankfully, Grama took the kids for a large portion of the day, evne though we didn't even get the book till 10am!) and knew that if we didn't finish in one reading, it'd be ruined for us by someone at church or something. Brent had been on a media boycott for days already. Wasn't it wonderful??? It does help to read fast. Man I was tired when we finished though. But I'm not sure any of my sisters have had time to start reading it yet (how can it not have been top priority??), and only one other person I've talked to has finished it besides Brent so far, so I need your thoughts! Ok, I've begged enough. Just can't get enough Harry Potter.

Ami & Kirsten I send you both an email about your questions and posted comments in your blog... Hope it clarifies! I need to reread it once I get it back from who ever borrows it next!

Thanks! I really think I am going to try this. She loves prizes and loves to get fun things from the store. Now I need to find a way to make the cute Brooklyn Bucks. If I have more questions I will be coming to you.
